Meet the authors
Author David B Barnard resides in Palm Coast Florida.
He served with honor in two branches of military service - the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. His training included tank operations training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, and Ranger training with the 2nd Ranger Battalion and Parachute Jump School at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He is SCUBA certified and currently holds an Open Water Certification.
He attended and graduated from the Non-Commissioned Officer's Training Course at Camp Pendleton, California. After Barnard medically retired from active duty, he attended and graduated from the Sand Diego Police Academy, the U.S. Marshals Academy, and the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Department.
His experience includes tours of duty as a Deputy Marshal for three years and as a Police Officer for five years. His background includes police investigation, interrogation of suspects, and crime scene investigation.
Author Samuel Brodie resides in Savanah Georgia.
He is a retired after 26 years a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. His assignments included tours of duty with the 2nd Armored Division, the 101st Airborne division (Air Assault) and the 1st Armored Division. He was a Distinguished Instructor at the U.S. Army Military Police School and a Faculty instructor at the U. S. Air Force Command and Staff College. His oversea assignments let him to Germany, The Republic of Turkey and to Egypt.
His military training included the Transportation Officer's Basic Course, Transportation Officer's Advance Course, the Air Command and Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College.
Following his service to his country, Brodie, a nickname his friends gave him, was recruited by a Fortune 500 Company. Brodie is also a Master Instructor in SCUBA Diving. He learned to dive while assigned in Turkey. Brodie and his wife are retired and are living near Savanah Georgia.
